We are launching the first year of our 'Green Christmas Challenge' and will be posting daily tips and ideas for having an environmentally friendly holiday. We are also partnering up with Little Sprouts Eco-Club in Muskoka and offering an eco gift wrapping workshop.

NATIVE TREE FUNDRAISER
Habitat for Humanity: Ontario Gateway North
Generation Homes Project
Contribute to the housing crisis in the Muskoka area. We are selling native to Muskoka area seedlings (approx. 1ft high) for $10.00 where 100% of the proceeds will go towards helping Habitat for Humanity's build in Huntsville, ON. Together we can help provide safe, affordable, homes for four families.

Once your tree is purchased we will provide you with a pick up address, date & time. You can also purchase & pick up at Tree at the Annex (27 Manitoba St, Bracebridge, ON) or find us at the Bracebridge Farmers Market.

Not wanting a tree but wanting to donate? No problem! The tree you purchased will be donated to one of two local camps in the area.

Planting Instructions:​
Step 1: Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball.
Step 2: Plant the tree level with the ground and backfill around the root ball, lightly packing the soil as you go.
Check to ensure the trunk is straight.
Step 3: Water regularly until your tree is established, about 3 months. Then you can gradually reduce frequency of watering.

Wait until the following year, then provide a moderate dose of fertilizer. A 3-inch layer of mulch around the base of the tree will keep weeds out and reduce water loss.
